teaches you the
Who, What, Where, Why and How about
SCDS.
Learn critical information and terminology about cocaine psychosis, substance induced excited delirium,
positional asphyxia, positional restraint asphyxia, as well as the identifiable symptoms & behavioral patterns that
are exhibited by subjects who may be at risk of becoming custody deaths.
During this course you will review five case histories, watch two actual cases,
one of Cocaine Psychosis and one where Methamphetamines are involved. You will learn how to build a
defensible platform against litigation in the case of a fatality.
Each attendee receives a training kit with a SCDS Instructors Manual, Powerpoint presentation, videos and
restraints that will be used in the hands on portion of this course. Each kit is valued at approximately $265.
